Guardian Angels Rev Up for Thunder Bay

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – The Guardian Angels in Thunder Bay are working with youth at Community Living Thunder Bay. Ian Hodgekinson and his team of Thunder Bay Guardian Angels are making a positive and real difference in the lives of young people right here, right now.

The young women who the Guardian Angels are working with have shifted into a whole new gear in very short order. From quiet and shy to happier and more confident is a transformation that demonstrates that the program works.

The group has just started their efforts to make a difference in the City of Thunder Bay about six months ago.

The First Day of the Rest of Your Life

Much of what the Guardian Angels have been doing has been under the radarY for many people. Today the Guardian Angels raised the curtain on some of the work they are doing in our city.

“The Guardian Angels project that we started in Thunder Bay six months ago, is not like the Guardian Angels programs that started twenty-five years ago in New York,” stated Hodgekinson. “We are a tool for the city, and we are here now for you”.

The Guardian Angels Canada head, Ian Hodgekinson has experienced a lot of negativity from small circles in the city. To go out with the Guardian Angels and witness that not only are they making a positive difference in the City of Thunder Bay for the city, but also for the people who are associated with the Guardian Angels.

Building forward, Hodgekinson says, “I started six months ago, and look where we are now. Imagine where we will be in a year!”.
