Special weather statement in effect for:
- Dryden – Vermilion Bay
- Ignace – English River
- Fort Frances – Emo – Rainy River
- Seine River Village – Mine Centre
Thunderstorms with gusty winds likely this evening.
A sharp Arctic cold front will blast southeast across the region this evening bringing a line of thunderstorms with it. Some of the thunderstorms will bring wind gusts to 80 km/h, as well as sudden heavy downpours and frequent lightning.
The thunderstorms will race to the southeast of the region into Minnesota and weaken later this evening.
