KENORA – Ontario has a new Regional Chief. Chief Isadore Day was elected this morning in a traditional Stand Up Election.

The new Ontario Regional Chief succeeds Ontario Regional Chief Stan Beardy who did not seek re-election.

Chief Isadore Day has set forward a platform that is quite ambitious and seeks to put First Nations Issues higher on the political agenda and social agendas across Canada and Ontario.
