THUNDER BAY – The investigation into a serious assault which occurred at a residence in the Totem Trailer Court continues. A female in her twenties’s was transported to hospital with serious injuries and remains in critical condition.
Emergency responders were on scene at a residence at the Totem Trailer Court on Chippewa Road just after 9:00AM on Monday morning.
An eighteen-year-old old man is in custody facing a charge of Aggravated Assault in connection with the incident.
The suspect was arrested in the vicinity of the residence shortly after police arrived on scene this morning.
Thunder Bay Police state that the accused and victim are known to each other. The accused will be making his first court appearance
