THUNDER BAY – CRIME – Thunder Bay Police made short work in investigating and making an arrest in a robbery of Robins Donuts on May Street South. Thunder Bay Police responded to a robbery in progress at the Robin’s Donuts located on South May Street on June 7th, 2015.

Police report that just after midnight a male entered the business with his hood pulled up to conceal his face and proceeded to go around to the back to the counter area where he took out a handgun and demanded money from the employee. The suspect left the business with some money prior to police arrival. The thirty-one-year old female victim was not injured in this incident.

Uniformed Police Officers located a male matching the description of the suspect in an apartment building a short distance away on May Street. At 1:20AM. the male was arrested on an outstanding warrant and taken to the Balmoral Police Station. Officers completed the robbery investigation and also charged him with Robbery with a Firearm, Wearing a Disguise and Weapons Dangerous to the Public.

forty-six-year old Jack Richard Miller appeared in court on these charges and has been remanded to the District Jail.
