Thunder Bay Cab Driver Held Up at Knifepoint

Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – CRIME UPDATE – Thunder Bay Police report that this morning at about 01:25AM EDT a cab driver was robbed by two males who used a knife. The incident began on the Thunder Bay Expressway, and ended when the suspects fled the taxi in the Mary Street and Georgina Street intersection.

Police report that one of the suspects, a Native Canadian male who is about 5’*” tall, was wearing a Toronto Raptor’s Baseball Cap, an Adidas jacket with three stripes on the sleeves, grey running shoes and carrying a back pack.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken in the robbery.

Thunder Bay Police Located Missing Youth

Thunder Bay Police were also seeking a missing ten-year-old youth last night, who has since been located safe and sound.

Additionally on Monday, Police were on scene on Vickers Street South in what at first was deemed a suspicious death, however that incident has been deemed to not involved any foul play. Officers had the south-side apartment area under containment during the investigation.
