THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Community safety is a shared responsibility. This is why today the Guardian Angels and Mac’s Convenience Stores, through their “MacsCrimeBusters” program are announcing they have joined forces to continue the efforts in preserving a higher quality of life in the City of Thunder Bay.

For over 38 years, the Guardian Angels have been leaders and advocates for peace and safety in the community, worldwide. Creating a partnership with an industry leader in crime prevention like Mac’s Convenience Stores; who recognize the importance of having direct communication with the community will only assist in our common goal of a safer community.

This collaborative effort will allow the Guardian Angels to increase our exposure and engagement into the community through safety patrols, posting awareness signage in local Mac’s locations, supporting their Positive Ticketing Program and working together on various other crime prevention initiatives.

The Guardian Angels are excited about this new partnership with Mac’s and believe many of the programs will help youth choose a positive path in their future.
