People will not die from cancer, if our prediction is true.THUNDER BAY – LIVING – The Thunder Bay Police Association, Canadian Tire and the Thunder Bay Unit of the Canadian Cancer Society proudly invite you to attend our annual Cops for Cancer head shaving event.

On May 9, over 60 men, women, and children will come together to raise funds and awareness in the fight against cancer.

This community event is coordinated each year by volunteer Event Chair, Constable Greg Stephenson, Co-chair Brad Comuzzi, and is proudly supported by the Thunder Bay Police Association and Canadian Tire.

The Canadian Cancer Society is pleased to celebrate our 19th anniversary of Cops for Cancer in Thunder Bay. Participants will shave their heads throughout the day in support of those living with cancer in our community.

How can you participate?

  • Register and collect donations in advance of May 9th by visiting www.copsforcancer.ca or visiting the Canadian Cancer Society office on 1093 Barton St.
  • Drop in to our event on May 9, 2015 to schedule your head shave (by donation).
  • Donate today at www.copsforcancer.ca or by visiting us on May 9, 2015 at Intercity Mall.

Since Cops for Cancer began, law enforcement, emergency service personnel and generous community supporters have raised more than $45.5 million dollars across Canada for cancer research and programs!
