THUNDER BAY – Road Construction – April 21, 2015 – William Street between Edward Street and Barton Street will be closed to through traffic for approximately two weeks beginning Friday, April 24, due to storm sewer construction.
Motorists are asked to use alternate routes when travelling through the area. Local access to the Confederation College campus will still be available via Barton Street.
The William Street work is the first phase of a two-to-three-month project that will see storm sewer construction take place on William, James and Edward streets. Work schedules and lane closures will be announced by the City as the project continues.
