FORT WILLIAM FIRST NATION – Michelle Solomon has a background in mental health and addictions. She is a strong advocate for dealing with those issues.

Easily approachable, Michele takes this role seriously and works to help anyone she can. “Having the resources there to meet you in your hour of need, when dealing with personal struggles is really important”, states Michele.

Michele shared in her interview the depth of people assets on the Fort William First Nation, and working to reach out and engage more people across the community.

A couple of themes are starting to resonate with candidates and voters, it appears greater community engagement, and building capacity on the First Nation are echoing with many candidates.
