FORT WILLIAM FN – On April 11th, Fort William First Nation members will head to the polls and vote in the Band Council Election. There are sixty-seven candidates running for a seat on the Band Council.

Kateri Banning Skaarup is looking to bring her experience as the President of Skaarup Construction to the Council in order to help with coming construction and development projects.

Kateri is an active volunteer across the city. She is the voice of Strong Man Competitions, and a member of the SHIFT Network.

Sitting down with NetNewsLedger, Kateri talks about some of what she brings to this election.
