Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – CRIME Beat – UPDATED – Thunder Bay Police report that, “The post mortem has been completed by the Coroner’s Office on the deceased male found at the Junot Street Park yesterday morning”.

“No foul play is suspected. This is not a criminal investigation”.

The Thunder Bay Police are currently investigating a sudden death incident after the body of an adult male was found in a snow bank just off a path at the north end of Junot Park.

At approximately 9:00 a.m., a male walking in the area went to the Junot Fire station for assistance after locating the male. Fire personnel requested the police attend after verifying the male had no vital signs.

Thunder Bay Police are securing the scene pending the results of the post mortem to determine the cause of death.

The investigation is ongoing.
