EDMONTON – SPORTS – It will be Canada’s Scott Croxall versus his older brother Kyle Croxall battling it out at the top of the heap for the 2015 Ice Cross Downhill World Championship at the season finale in Edmonton on Saturday while the Moriarity twins — Dean and Dylan — are close behind in third and fifth place overall with title hopes in tact.

Never before two pairs of brothers have been in the top spots going into the final race with the possibility of a all-Canada podium. The four Canadians got an early glimpse of the 2015 world championship trophy that they are all hoping to lift on the Edmonton track, which has been perfectly integrated into the Edmonton valley, wending its way down off a roof to a balcon, before dropping to ground level. With 1,000 points up for grabs for the race winner, Scott leads the standings with 2815 points with Kyle hot on his heels with 2315 points. Dean Moriarity has 2235 points and red-hot Dylan is in fifth with 1980 points.
