Walking With Our Sisters Keeps the Momentum Growing

THUNDER BAY – Walking with Our Sisters hosted a community conversation in Thunder Bay on Sunday, The event held at the Lakehead University Law School brought together well over 100 people to share and contribute their ideas on what we need to do in Thunder Bay and in our region.

“We want to bring the community together, and to have a plan of action.

Raylah Lavonia Moonias Shares on How to Work with Children

Changes for themes discussed included eduation, political change, mind-set change, media, men and children, and drugs and alcohol.

How to create a safe community working with the themes, and participants were encouraged to make a contribution to the community.

Discussions ranged on a wide group of topics, and continued to drill down on those topics toward action items.

The goal was sharing options for going forward.

From the program, the desire for positive and systemic change in Thunder Bay was very apparent.
