Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – CRIME – On February 27, 2015, Thunder Bay Police report that TBPS Gang Unit officers spoke to a male at the Greyhound Bus Station on Fort William Road. The man had just arrived in town on the bus.

Officers located 58 grams of crack cocaine and 113 Percocet pills in his luggage. The estimated street value of the drug is $18,500. During the search of the male subsequent to his arrest, officers located marihuana in his jacket.

Thirty-one-year old Christopher James Desormeaux of Ottawa, Ontario has been charged with two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine & Oxycodone) and Possession of Marihuana. He appeared in court and was remanded to the District Jail.

Additionally, on February 27, 2015 at 7:15AM the TBPS Drug Unit, Gang Unit assisted by the Emergency Task Unit executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Warrant on an apartment in the 600 block of South Vickers Street.

Police officers located a small amount of crack cocaine, marijuana and pills along with $49,575.00 in Canadian currency.

Twenty-eight-year old Anthony James Guertin was arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Proceeds of Crime and Breach of Probation.

He appeared in court on the weekend and was remanded to the District Jail.
