The Future of Public Broadcasting

THUNDER BAY – POLITICS – Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party of Canada and Member of Parliament for Saanich – Gulf Islands, will be discussing the future of public broadcasting in Canada in a live-stream that will airs air Sunday.

The interviews will air back-to-back in English and French, starting at 5:00 pm ET on Sunday, March 1st.

The webcast is the latest in the Leaders Series about the CBC, organized by The Friends of Canadian Broadcasting.
Federal parties with seats in the House of Commons were invited to participate.

Don Newman, former host of CBC News: Politics, will conduct the English interview. Francine Pelletier, journalist and documentary filmmaker, will conduct the French interview.
