THUNDER BAY – LETTERS – Greetings from the Official Recognition Committee of City Council! Through this committee, on an annual basis City Council recognizes individuals and groups that have demonstrated exceptional service to our community through their efforts on behalf of a wide variety of programs and organizations.
At this time, the Official Recognition Committee invites you to turn your attention to the many volunteers within your organization that work so hard to benefit our community. Volunteers in service clubs, community health and advocacy organizations, sporting groups and arts organizations, just to name a few, are all potential candidates to be nominated for this award.
Nominations for the Annual Awards are accepted in one of three categories: Spirit of Thunder Bay; Good Citizen or the Youth Award.
