The Donald Muses about White House Run
WASHINGTON – Conservative Presidential hopefuls gathered this weekend in Iowa to start the path to the 2016 election in the United States.
Several of the perceived top-runners, including Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney did not attending.
Sarah Palin, who was on the John McCain Republican ticket which lost against President Obama, attended having shared with reporters that she is looking to run for president.
The Republicans feel confident based on history that they have a shot at the White House in 2016. It has been common practice after a party has held the White House for two terms that the voters choose a different party for the presidency.
President Obama has raised the bar with his State of the Union Address, taking aim at the middle class in America.
Republicans face finding a candidate who can appeal to middle class voters and mainstream voters while appeasing the far right in the GOP.
