Near Perfect Ice Racing Conditions for Thunder Bay Autosport Club
THUNDER BAY – MOTOR SPORTS – The Thunder Bay Autosport club had super weather to kick off the 2015 ice racing season.
“This weekend was the season opener, with more than a dozen drivers kicking up snow and ice in the newly designed ice track this year.
Conditions were very good according to Competition Director Cameron Adomko, stating that cloudy skies actually provide better vision for the drivers compared to when the light is shining through the snow dust, Sunday’s light winds helped move the dust away.
An avid driver himself for the past 14 seasons, Cameron says the Thunder Bay Autosport Club race until March 11 as authorized by the Harbour Commission. Safety during the events are always their paramount concern.”
