Vic Fedeli Leadership Campaign Swing Through Northwest

THUNDER BAY – POLITICS – Vic Fedeli is one of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Leadership candidates. During a stop in Thunder Bay today, Fedeli stopped by the NetNewsLedger studio for an discussion on the issues that the former North Bay Mayor and two term Ontario MPP sees for the province of Ontario.

“I want to make Ontario first again”, stated Fedeli.

Fedeli says that with the current challenges facing Ontario, leadership from a background of business would be what the province needs. He points to his years of experience in starting his own company, coupled with working in the not-for-profit sector along with his municipal experience as key tools needed.

On the Ring of Fire Mining Project, Fedeli says what is needed is action. “There have been announcements, re-announcements, and delays.”

“The first step is getting Noront going with the East West route to extract the nickel from their project”.

Feudal says that is a good first step and that in the longer run the goal is to have a rail line.

Fedeli is off over the rest of the weekend to tour the rest of Northwestern Ontario.
