PARIS – Paris is rallying for unity and standing strong in the face of threats. Over a million people are expected to join in the rally.

There are already hundreds of thousands of people gathered.

World Leaders are expected to join the march as well.

The Paris rally this Sunday is expected to dwarf other unity marches across France. On Saturday 700,000 people took to the streets.

Security is going to be tight. Two thousand Police Officers and almost 1500 French Soldiers – including highly trained marksmen on rooftops are deployed to protect the people taking part in the rally

At the Elysee Palace, French President Francois Hollande met leaders from the Jewish community. Jewish leaders said the President said new security measures would be put in place at all Jewish institutions on Sunday and Monday.
