Thunder Bay Police Make Quick Work of Robbery Arrest

Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – CRIME – Thunder Bay Police report that “A thirty-one-year old male appeared in court this morning to answer to charges stemming from a robbery that occurred at the Shopper’s Drug Mart on East Arthur Street yesterday morning.

A lone male entered the business just before 9:00AM on Monday, with his face blackened out with some sort of makeup or dirt.

The man demanded narcotics from the pharmacy staff and was able to make it out of the store with some drugs. He was apprehended by staff members in the parking lot. The accused male threatened the staff members during this altercation however they were able to keep control of the male until police arrived and took custody of him. The staff members were not injured in this incident.

Kyle Brandon Spence has been charged with Robbery, Disguise with Intent and Threats. He has been remanded at the District Jail and will appear in court again on January 7, 2015.
