DRYDEN – CRIME REPORT – On January 5, 2015 Derek West of the Thunder Bay Police Service was sworn in as interim Chief of Police of the Dryden Police Service.

West will continue in this position while the Police Services Board conducts a hiring process for a permanent replacement of former Chief Rob Davis, who announced his resignation earlier this year.

Chief West’s family, local dignitaries, members of the Dryden Police Service, the Thunder Bay Police Service, Treaty Three Police Service, Anishinaabe Aski Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police were also on hand to welcome Chief West to Dryden.
