Thunder Bay has Eleventh Homicide of 2014
THUNDER BAY – CRIME NEWS – UPDATED – Thunder Bay Police report that they have a suspect in custody in the 11th homicide of the year. The victim, who is a sixty-two-year old man was found at a Secord Street address early on Sunday morning. Police report that they arrested a forty-five year old woman in conjunction with this homicide at 3:30PM on Sunday.
Police report that the suspect and the victim are known to each other and that alcohol was apparently a factor in this homicide.
The victim is sixty-two-year-old Richard Spence.
The victim was was found inside a Secord Street residence early on Sunday morning.
Forty-five-year-old Monica Spence, the cousin of the victim has been charged with second degree murder.
An autopsy will be performed in Toronto on Monday to fully determine the cause of death.
The suspect has been charged with second degree murder and will appear in court on Monday.
