THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – Updated – Environment Canada is calling for freezing drizzle for the western part of Northwestern Ontario. The warm weather has precipitation potentially turning to freezing drizzle.

Special weather statement in effect for:

  • Dryden – Vermilion Bay
  • Sioux Narrows – Nestor Falls – Morson
  • Ignace – English River
  • Kenora – Grassy Narrows – Whitedog
  • Savant Lake – Sturgeon Lake
  • Sioux Lookout – Eastern Lac Seul

Patchy freezing drizzle tonight. Patchy freezing drizzle is expected over parts of Northwestern Ontario tonight. Untreated road surfaces may become icy and slippery. Conditions are expected to improve Sunday morning.
