Santa Bomb Headed to Ontario

THUNDER BAY – The significant weather system headed to Ontario, first reported on NNL on December 17th is now being called a “Santabomb”.

Snowfall amounts for Thunder Bay have been boosted since the first reports.

The impact of the weather is likely to cause travel issues, for highway and air travellers, however the greatest snowfall amounts are forecast for Christmas Day, December 25th.

This is a developing system, and remains in the long-term forecast. Keeping abreast of the long-term forecast for the holidays is a key to being prepared.
