Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – CRIME NEWS – Thunder Bay Police report that search warrants were executed simultaneously at two north side locations on December 17th.  Investigators with the provincial Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, assisted by the TBPS Emergency Task Unit enter a residence in 200 block of Tupper Street just before noon on December 17, 2014.  A 36 male was taken into custody and a small quantity of crack cocaine was seized.

At the same time, Police report that “Drug Unit officers converged on a vehicle in front of a Dawson Road hotel and arrested a 36 year old male.  A subsequent search of a room at the hotel resulted in the discovery of a loaded 38 caliber hand gun, $15,734 in cash, a small quantity of drugs and stolen property.  A 20 year old female who was in the room was arrested”.

36 year old Lee Vincent CHIODO of Thunder Bay was charged in connection with the Tupper Street search.

36 year old Stephan Richard PARR of Thunder Bay was charged in connection with the Dawson Road hotel search.

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts)
  • Possession of a Restricted Weapon Without Authorization
  • Possession of a Loaded Firearm
  • Possession of a Firearm While Prohibited
  • Two other related charges for the firearm and ammunition
  • Proceeds of Crime Over $5,000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

20 year old Emily Marie ANDERSON of Thunder Bay was charged in connection with the Dawson Road hotel search.

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts)
  • Possession of a Restricted Weapon Without Authorization
  • Possession of a Loaded Firearm
  • Two other related charges for the firearm and ammunition
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Lee Vincent CHIODO has been released for a court date of January 20, 2015.  Emily Marie ANDERSON has been released for a court date of January 13, 2015.  Stephan Richard PARR has been held for a future court date.
