THUNDER BAY – CRIME – Thunder Bay Police report that a teenager was robbed and threatened with a knife by a group of bad guys who ended up stealing his skates. The incident happened on Friday, after the youth had just taken off his skates at the Kinsmen Centre rink on North James Street.

Police report the youth had a female grab his skates and start taking off with them. The teen reportedly approached the woman to attempt to get his skates back when her companion threatened the teenager with a knife.

Thunder Bay Police report that no one was physically injured in this incident. Both female suspects are described as Aboriginal of average height with long dark hair. They were both wearing skinny jeans and grey and black bomber-style jackets.

The first male suspect is described as Aboriginal, standing 6’1″ tall, and he had facial hair and wearing a large fur hat.

The second male was about 5’8″ and wearing a black hoodie.

The Easton E Youth skates are worth about $800.
