Shelby Ch’ng Takes on New Council Role

THUNDER BAY – Shelby Ch’ng is the new Thunder Bay City Councillor for Northwood Ward. Shelby brings experience to Thunder Bay City Council as a business owner, a connection with younger residents, and an enthusiasm that is needed to help make a difference in our city.

The new Councillor shares her perspectives and vision after her first meetings in the Council Chamber.

Shelby will also be on the CEDC, the Thunder Bay District Social Services Committee, the Crime Prevention Council, and the Communications Committee.

Ch’ng brings a new set of eyes to the Council Chamber that coupled with her business experience, and her social network on Facebook and Twitter will likely make the new Northwood Councillor one of the people to watch around the Council Chamber moving forward.
