Employees in Diagnostic Imaging at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre came up with a fun way to celebrate Medical Radiation Sciences Week (November 2-8, 2014) and raise money for the Linda Buchan Centre for Breast Screening and Assessment. Tickets were sold for a chance to throw a cream pie at Steve Exley, Manager of MRI and Molecular Imaging (above left) and Bradley Timko, Manager of CT, Interventional, and Radiology (above right). Joshua Cutting (left) and Erin Arps (right) are two of the DI employees who took part.

The Health Sciences Foundation’s Exceptional Cancer Care Campaign is raising funds that are 100% dedicated to helping our cancer centre become the best centre in the province for Exceptional Cancer Care. The Campaign supports initiatives such as The Linda Buchan Centre for Breast Screening and Assessment, the Tbaytel Tamarack House and state-of-the-art equipment for our cancer care professionals to ensure cancer patients in Northwestern Ontario have the best opportunity to survive.

With each donation to the Exceptional Cancer Care Campaign, you ensure that nobody makes their cancer journey alone.

You aren’t just giving money, you’re giving Hope. Please give generously.
