Minnesota Mayhem Sees Sportop Queens

ST. PAUL, Minn. – SPORT – The Thunder Bay Sportop midget AA Queens dropped their opening game at Minnesota Mayhem tournament in St. Paul, Minn., falling 4-1 to the Pembina Valley Hawks Friday.

The Queens fell behind 2-0 early before Briana Prete put Thunder Bay on the board finishing off a feed from Samantha Isbell before the first period was complete.

Pembina Valley added later markers in the final two periods to round out the scoring.

The Queens return to game action Saturday with two more games.

They’ll take on the Shaftesbury Prep Titans at 12:20 p.m. followed by a 7 p.m. match-up with the Eastman Selects.
