THUNDER BAY – CRIME – A Thunder Bay man was stabbed early Sunday morning. Thunder Bay Police report that the man was stabbed during an altercation in a backlane in Westfort. The injured man went to a home near the altercation to seek help.
Police responded to the stabbing incident from a Westfort homeowner who had reported to police that the man was at her home. The 9-1-1 call came in just before 02:00AM EST.
The altercation between the two individuals knew each other. Thunder Bay police were able to quickly find the suspect, a seventeen-year-old minor who has been charged with aggravated assault.
