    Mac’s Armed Robbery Suspect Sought

    THUNDER BAY – CRIME NEWS – Thunder Bay Police are seeking a suspect in a robbery of an Arthur Street Mac’s Convenience Store over night.

    The male suspect is sought in the armed robbery that happened just after 1:00AM EST on Sunday.

    Police report that the suspect allegedly entered the Mac’s Store on Arthur Street and was brandishing a weapon.

    The suspect entered the store produced a syringe demanding cash and tobacco products. The employee complied and the suspect exited the store in an unknown direction.

    The suspect is described as 5’7″-5’9″ tall, 160-170lbs, wearing a maroon coloured pants, dark parka jacket with a hoodie a scarf covering his face and carrying a dark bag.

    The suspect fled the store with a quantity of cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of money.

    The Thunder Bay Police are seeking anyone with any information contact Police or Crime Stoppers.

    Thunder Bay Police dealt with several offences overnight. There were 17 Quality of Life calls, which included 15 alcohol related calls.

    As well police were called to several break and enters, and several assaults.

    Over the past twenty-four hours, police handled twenty-one traffic related calls.
