THUNDER BAY – CRIME – Thunder Bay Police are reporting on a robbery at the Mac’s Store at 235 Syndicate Avenue South which happened on November 8, 2014 at approximately 8:35PM EST.

The male approached the counter and threatened the store employee. The male left the store with a small amount of money. The employee was not injured.

Uniform officers arrived on scene a short time later. The suspect was recognized by police after reviewing the surveillance video of the store. The male was arrested just before 9:30 p.m. at Shelter House without incident.

28 year old Bradley Perrault has been charged with Robbery with Threats. He remains in custody.

Thunder Bay Police are reporting on an incident involving an axe. Police state, “A weapons call on November 8, 2014 resulted in the arrest of the accused and victim. Police converged on a residence in the 900 block of Georgina Bay just before 5:30AM EST Saturday morning. During an altercation, a 16 year old male had allegedly struck a 19 year old male in the leg with an axe. The two fled the scene.”

“Officers located the two individuals in the vicinity a short time later. The 19 year old victim had a minor injury. Both individuals were taken into custody”.

The 16 year old male has been charged with Assault with a Weapon and 3 counts of Breach of Probation. The 19 year old victim was charged with Obstructing Police and Failure to Comply with Recognizance.

Alcohol was a factor in this incident.
