THUNDER BAY – BUSINESS – Wasaya Airways LP is announcing expanded service. In a media release the company states, “Over the recent months, Wasaya Airways LP has been continuously improving and implementing significant service changes for our guests and the communities we serve. In addition to the recent calibration to our scheduled network to improve On Time Performance, we are pleased to announce that effective Thursday November 6th; Wasaya Airways will be increasing the number of seats available weekly with an additional 950 seats”.

The company states, “Our primary objective for adding extra seats on our flights is to allow last minute availability for medical and personal travel for our guests. These seats will be available on all our Dash 8 and 1900 aircrafts and will accommodate all of the communities we service”.

Wasaya Airways is 100% First Nations owned and has served Northwestern Ontario for 25 years.
