Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – CRIME BEAT – Thunder Bay Police dealt with a stolen vehicle last night.

Police report, “Just before 4:00AM EDT a vehicle was reported stolen from the driveway of an Agate Bay residence. At 4:31AM EDT patrol officers observed the vehicle heading northbound on Brodie Street. The officers requested assistance and followed the vehicle while other officers converged into the area.

The vehicle was stopped at 4:35AM EDT on Arthur Street near Lillie Street. The 15 year old male driver and 17 year old female passenger in the backseat of the vehicle were arrested without incident. The 18 year old male passenger in the front seat fled when the vehicle was stopped. He was arrested on the 2300 block of East Donald Street at 4:36AM EDT after a short foot pursuit.

All three individuals have been charged with Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000.00. The 15 year old male appeared in court this morning has been remanded into custody.

The 17 year old female and the 18 year old male were released with a future court date.
