THUNDER BAY – Please know I am very grateful for all those who supported me in any way. I was blessed with a great campaign team who believed in me.
With considerable input after listening to people we offered a platform of common sense , practical achievement, and principled ideals. I am glad we took the high-road of an issue-based campaign.
The voters of Thunder Bay must be respected for their democratic choices and the new Council Members congratulated for their success.
As a community we are facing new challenges and it is vital that we support our Council and its work.
As for me, I will be taking some time to how I best I can continue to serve my community.
As of today I don’t think I will be running for any other public office but of course will be involved in some other ways.
My energy will now be focused on my term on the Northern School of Medicine, on Lakehead Rotary, and others such as the Canadian National Institute for the Blind and Operation Red Nose.
Thank you Thunder Bay for allowing me to serve you on Council and to my volunteers, supporters, friends, and family-thank you for the honour of representing you,
Most sincerely,
Ken Boshcoff
