Macs Robbery Suspect Arrested in Thunder Bay

Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – CRIME REPORT – On October 24, 2014 the Thunder Bay Police Service officers arrested a male in relation to the robberies that occurred on October 2nd at the Shell Gas Bar located on Red River Road, and on October 13th at the Mac’s Convenience Store located on Waterloo Street.

Officers observed the suspect walking on Windermere Street at approximately 1:00PM EDT on Friday afternoon. The male was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Balmoral Police Station.

Alexander James Geesic, a thirty-three-year-old of Thunder Bay was charged with two counts of Robbery, two counts of Disguise with Intent and two counts of Breach of Probation.

He was also charged with Mischief Under $5,000 for an unrelated incident.

Geesic appeared in court and was remanded to the district jail.
