THUNDER BAY – Strong winds in Thunder Bay have impacted many residents. Power has been out for some residents through the day. Crews have been dispatched and work to restore power have been ongoing.

The winds are also impacting Lake Superior, Lake Nipigon and Lake of the Woods.

On Lake Superior, the forecast is calling for waves one to one and one half metres subsiding to one near noon Sunday and to one half metre or less Sunday evening. Those waves will be along the North Shore of the Lake.
