THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Canada’s Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash of a small plane into the harbour in Thunder Bay that happened over the Thanksgiving weekend.
Thunder Bay Police, Thunder Bay Fire Rescue, Superior EMS and the Canadian Coast Guard all responded to the accident that happened on Sunday afternoon.
The Coast Guard was able to extricate the uninjured pilot out of the capsized plane.
The pilot was the person onboard the aircraft. The Cessna 180 was also recovered and was secured to the dock near the waterfront..
The Transportation Safety Board will continue their investigation.
