Thunder Bay Police Investigating Armed Robberies

Thunder Bay Crime ReportTHUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police were occupied Tuesday night with a number of incidents. Armed robberies on May Street, East Arthur Street kept police busy.

The first armed robbery happened when a male suspect, dressing in a black and red bush jacket, armed with a knife entered a business on May Street. The suspect demanded money from the business employee who refused and defended himself with a baseball bat. The suspect departed from the business empty-handed.

At 20:00EDT, a man wearing the same type of bush jacket robbed a convenience store on East Arthur Street. The individual got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Finally, at 22:00EDT, a suspect wearing a gray hoodie who was carrying a sharp weapon held up the Shopper’s Drug Mart at McIntyre Plaza on May Street. The robber got away with some prescription drugs.

Thunder Bay Police report that there were no physical injuries in any of the three incidents.
