THUNDER BAY – POLITICS – Moe Comuzzi is headed back into the political arena.
Moe (Maureen) Comuzzi-Stehmann has announced she will be seeking the federal Conservative nomination in the riding of Thunder Bay-Rainy River.
Comuzzi-Stehmann says “The economy, youth job creation and assistance for seniors are important priorities for the riding”.
“The Harper government has done a tremendous job of getting the country’s finances in order. The plan to eliminate the deficit by next year and control spending and waste have made Canada the envy of the world, and put the government in the unique position of being able to move our region’s economy forward.
“I believe continuing to elect representatives from the opposition party has failed to generate meaningful jobs and investment in our communities, and I look forward to bringing our needs to the table of the governing party after the next federal election”, says Comuzzi-Stehmann.
The lifelong Thunder Bay resident manages a local business and holds a Political Science degree from Lakehead University and was the runner up in the 2011 federal campaign.
