VAUGHAN- CRIME REPORT – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Criminal Investigation Branch seek help from the public to find a suspect in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on September 13, 2014 near the community of Clinton, in Central Huron, Huron County.
Investigation has determined that the victim and a female were riding horses in the area when an unknown male approached them and shot the victim.
The female sustained minor injuries but was able to get to a place of safety.
The male victim was identified as 70-year-old Donato FRIGO from Caledon East, Ontario.
At a brief media conference in Vaughan today, police announced they have issued a Canada Wide Warrant for the arrest for Boris PANOVSKI, aged 70 years, from Scarborough, Ontario.
He is described as being five feet seven inches tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes, although police say he may have changed his appearance since a recent photo was taken.
Mr. PANOVSKI is considered armed and dangerous.
If anyone knows of his whereabouts they are asked to contact the OPP through a dedicated toll-free phone number at 1-844-278-4794 or their nearest police agency immediately.
If anyone observes the suspect, they are asked to contact police immediately and provide location details.
No attempt should be made to apprehend the suspect for police.
Further, police are seeking to speak with anyone whom may have interacted with the suspect in the past seven days or whom may have seen the suspect’s vehicle – a blue 1998 Toyota 4-door sedan – near the Hullett Wildlife Conservation Area last Saturday.
