THUNDER BAY – A Frost Advisory has been issued for much of Northwestern Ontario.
Frost Advisory in effect for:
- City of Thunder Bay
- Dryden – Vermilion Bay
- Ignace – English River
- Nipigon – Geraldton – Hornpayne
- Armstrong
- Sioux Lookout
- Atikokan – Fort Frances
Some plants may be damaged or even destroyed by frost.
A ridge will build tonight over northeastern Ontario and bring light winds and clear skies. This will cause temperatures to drop to the freezing mark. Frost is expected to form overnight into early Friday morning.
Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.
