Homicide Victim William WapooseTHUNDER BAY – CRIME – Thunder Bay Police have released the name of the homicide victim who was located on September 3rd, 2014 just off the bike path in Chapples Park.

Thirty-two-year old William Darryl Wapoose of Thunder Bay has been identified as the victim of the homicide.

A post mortem examination was conducted yesterday in Thunder Bay. Investigators are not releasing the cause of death at this time.

The crime scene in Chapples Park has been released. Police are still seeking information regarding Mr. Wapoose’s activities from September 2, 2014 to September 3, 2014.

Thunder Bay Police are asking that in order to maintain the integrity of their investigation that people with information contact them, rather than post online on social media.
