Thunder Bay Police Dealing with Quality of Life Calls

THUNDER BAY – CRIME REPORT – Rain and cooler temperatures have not fully doused crime in Thunder Bay over the Labour Day weekend. Thunder Bay Police were kept busy dealing with seven assaults, and three sexual assaults. Police also dealt with five weapons offenses.

Topping the crime report as usual were Quality of Life Calls. There were 44 Quality of Life calls including twenty-three alcohol related calls and twenty-one calls for disorder.

Across the region:

In Marathon the OPP remain looking for a suspect in a domestic dispute. Marathon OPP have the OPP North West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the OPP North West Region Canine Unit on the ground assisting local officers in the search.
