Homicide is the Seventh in Thunder Bay in 2014

THUNDER BAY – The name of the seventh homicide victim in Thunder Bay has been released. Sixty-four-year-old Leslie Perrault from Fort Frances is the victim of murder on Machar Avenue last weekend.

The identity of Leslie Perrault was identified through a post mortem exam.

Thunder Bay Police are reporting that it is still too soon in the investigation to determine how well Chauncy Grover and Alyssa Jourdain, the two people charged with his murder knew Perrault.

Over the past 24 hours, Thunder Bay Police dealt with two weapons offences, 29 Quality of Life calls, including 21 alcohol-related calls.

There were also two assaults and one robbery.

Thunder Bay Police are continuing their investigation into a suspicious death that happened on August 27th when Police, Fire and Superior EMS were called out to Blucher Cresent.

A badly injured man was found at that location, he was transported to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre where he was pronounced dead.
