Rebecca Johnson Seeks Fourth Term on Thunder Bay Council

THUNDER BAY – Civic Politics – Three term Councillor Rebecca Johnson has declared she is seeking a 4th term on Thunder Bay City Council – Johnson is looking, should the voters put her on Council again at some new challenges – She shares that information with our NetNewsLedger viewers.

Johnson has been a part of several of the important initiatives during her terms on Council. The Crime Prevention Council, the Drug Strategy Committee and the Anti-Racism Committee are three of her areas of focus.

In a fourth term, Johnson shares she would like to get involved on the District Social Services Board.

Johnson has been heavily involved in the Women in Politics program which seeks to get more women into politics. As one of the mentors and leaders she expresses that running for re-election is important as a role model to the growing number of women seeking political office.
