JERUSALEM – INTERNATIONAL –The Israeli Air Force is on the attack in the Gaza Strip. A night of air attacks in the region, the Israeli Armed Forces say that twenty locations were targeted including several homes in Gaza City were destroyed.
A mosque in Khan Younis ws reduced to rubble after a night of air strikes by Israeli forces that killed five people and injured nine.
First responders working to to put out the blaze say they’re in a constant state of alert.
Gaza fire-fighter Rida Dayya stated, “This is a civilian house; it was attacked earlier. The fire fighters are facing a hard situation as they continue working here, because we’ve been warned this place is about to be attacked again.”
Palestinian health officials say just over 2,000 people, many of them civilians, have been killed in Gaza since July 8th 2014.
