Thunder Bay Police Seek Help to Solve Janzen’s Robbery

THUNDER BAY – CRIME NEWS – Janzen’s Pharmacy at the corner of Algoma and Camelot was the scene of a robbery on August 13, 2014. A male suspect entered the store at approximately 9:15AM EDT and proceeded to take narcotics from behind the counter.

Thunder Bay Police report, “The suspect fled on foot. There were no injuries.”

The suspect is described as:

  • Darker skinned male
  • 5’8” tall – Approximately 190 lbs – scruffy facial hair
  • Wearing flip-flops, sunglasses, light coloured baseball cap with black stripers, black jacket and dark pants
  • The suspect had a black bag

The Criminal Investigations Branch of the Thunder Bay Police Service have released video and still pictures from this robbery. The suspect has a similar description as the male involved in the July 24, 2014 robbery at this pharmacy.
